Green Bath Racing

Green Bath Racing is a student-led racing team based at the University of Bath, designing an ultra-efficient vehicle which competes in the annual Shell Eco Marathon. Every year our team comes together to design, construct, and improve our vehicle, with students from all engineering backgrounds joining in. In previous years we have run on an ICE, however as of the 2023/2024 academic year we are excited to announce we have transitioned to battery electric! Since 1996, the teams continuous participation has earned us many awards and titles, including the Technical Design Award, and various victories in over-running British records. In 2016, 2017, and 2018 GBR became the top team in the UK! We have worked hard to maintain standards ever since, and hope to make a comeback this summer with our newly designed electric vehicle.
