Green Schools Alliance

The Green Schools Alliance community connects and supports more than 13,000 Sustainability Champions, representing more than 8,000 schools, districts, and organizations in 48 U.S. states and 88 countries. Collectively, these champions influence nearly 5 million K-12 students across the globe to make the tools more accessible to sustainability champions worldwide. The Alliance works through our international coalition of schools, rooted in the idea that collaboration brings the greatest fundamental change for sustainable learning environments and communities. As hubs of communities, schools can help transform markets, policy, education and behavior, increase community resilience, mitigate climate change, and prepare citizens to think and act in new and creative ways today, so future generations can thrive.
