Green Thumb Farms has been farming in Western Maine since 1965. Working on 2000 acres of rich Saco River Valley soil has firmly established our reputation for quality potatoes, turf, dry beans and corn. Our third generation family farm strives to preserve Maines open spaces and agricultural heritage. Our agricultural roots lie in the production of the highest quality Maine potatoes. We grow and market several varieties of potatoes for supermarkets, food service distributors and processors, we recently added organic potatoes to our product list. Our state-of-the-art technology enables us to ensure quality potatoes in every bag. Green Thumbs turf business grows two varieties, Kentucky Bluegrass and Tall Fescue blend. We market directly to landscapers, golf courses and the sports turf industry, as well as homeowners. Green Thumb Farms has diversified into the dry bean business.
