Green Venture is a community-based non-profit organization committed to helping residents live more sustainably at home, at work, and in their daily lives. Green Venture grew out of a partnership formed in 1994 between the Region of Hamilton-Wentworth, Province of Ontario, Utilities, Private sector environmental companies, and Community organizations. We provide information and services that help individuals reduce their impact on the environment and improve public health through improved air, water, and soil initiatives.
