Grennaskolan Riksinternat closed down permanently in 2019. Grennaskolan Riksinternat AB is an international boarding school situated in Granna, Sweden. Granna a unique small town in the southern part of Sweden. The town was founded by Count Per Brahe in 1652. Stockholm University, which started Grennaskolan 1963, saw many benefits with Granna as a place for an international boarding school. Grennaskolan, the school that wants to be different was the message and the key words were small scale, international focus and a family atmosphere. This is still the hallmark of Grennaskolan. The boarding school has a mix of Swedish students from abroad, international and local students. Students are included, regardless of their background.
