Greyhounds WA

The Western Australian Greyhound Racing Association (WAGRA) currently manages three tracks in Western Australia with the first track being established in 1974 at Cannington, the second in 1979 at Mandurah and Northam in 1996. The three tracks combined offer six race meetings per week. Greyhounds WA Cannington A New Cannington track and accompanying facilities is currently being built and will be opened late 2015/early 2016. The new city track will offer racing over 380, 520, 600, and 715 metres. We race at Cannington twice a week and feature mainly city grade racing along with some provincial grade racing. There are between ten and twelve races on the programme, with up to eight greyhounds in each race. Dividends are generally paid out on the first three placegetters.
