Gritty In Pink

Gritty In Pink is a new platform empowering women in music through an online network/marketplace, events, media content and lifestyle partnerships- on a mission to achieve gender equality in the music business, and beyond. Founder Shira Yevin has a legendary history of breaking down barriers and carving out a space for women, as the creator of the Vans Warped Tour Shiragirl Stage, which showcased 300+ female musicians including Joan Jett and Paramore. Gritty in Pink continues the legacy of providing community and a stage for female voices in a male-dominated industry. Gritty in Pink created Gritty Rocks Live (GRL), an Instagram livestream show featuring female musicians from across the country, and beyond. In 2020, Gritty in Pink started a successful monthly event in Los Angeles; during the COVID-19 quarantine, we then created GRL, to provide artists with connection and performance opportunities.
