The Grogan legacy began in 1915 when Elisha A. Grogan founded Grogan Jewelers in the heart of Florence, Alabama. In 1940, his son Oscar took over the family business on Court Street, the citys main downtown artery. In 1972, Walker and Frankie Graham became the new owners of the Grogan tradition, and under their leadership the store experienced unmatched growth. Then in 1985, Jay Klos walked through the thresholds to sell diamonds to the then-owner, Walker Graham, but instead Klos was the one who made a purchase that day.
