Grow the Game is an innovative student-led organization at the University of Alabama dedicated to promoting and expanding the game of hockey across the state. Our mission is to break down barriers to entry and introduce the sport to new audiences, particularly in regions where hockey is less prevalent. Through community outreach, educational programs, and collaboration with local schools and organizations, we aim to create opportunities for youth to engage with hockey, fostering a love for the game and building a more inclusive sporting community. Our initiatives focus on: 1. Organizing youth hockey clinics and events 2. Partnering with schools for hands-on learning experiences 3. Supporting and advocating for the growth of womens hockey 4. Bringing the excitement of the sport to non-traditional markets With a strong leadership team, passionate members, and a growing network of supporters, we are committed to making hockey accessible for everyone in Alabama and beyond
