Guang Ming College

Guang Ming College (GMC) is the fifth member of the Fo Guang Shan International University Consortium. It is dedicated to providing the highest quality of humanistic education and experience towards the well-rounded development of socially responsible and accountable professionals for societal transformation. GMC provides full scholarships for all deserving students who are chosen to study in any of the programs offered. The college is a vinta a central space for students, faculty and staff out on exciting voyages through the seas, while the platform consists of humanistic Buddhism, and human sciences. The outriggers (katig) provide dynamic stability, and represent the colleges humanist teaching philosophy and pedagogies. The sail represents the San Hao of humanistic Buddhism (Three Acts of Goodness: Do Good Deeds, Speak Good Words, and Think Good Thoughts).
