We believe that adequate and affordable housing is foundational to people building a better future for themselves and to transforming neighborhoods and communities. Habitat Choptank provides affordable mortgage financing to low-income individuals and families who could not otherwise qualify for conventional mortgage financing. Also key to this mission is the use of mostly volunteer labor with the homes that we build or renovate.
