Halal Food Authority

Since 1994, The Halal Food Authority (HFA) has operated independently as a commercial wing, under an independent not-for-profit registered charity - involved in halal certification by doing halal auditing, regular halal supervision and inspection. The HFA has halal certified sites across the UK, Europe, and Asia. We are accredited to ISO/IEC 17065:2012, GSO 2055 -2:2015, OIC/SMIIC 2-:2019. We work with some of the worlds most recognised brands: on a local, national, international, and global level satisfying the demands of both consumers and industry. Beyond the certification of meat and poultry, we also certify establishments that produce, package, distribute, export and supply: halal ingredients, additives, flavors, emulsifiers, oils and fats, pharmaceuticals and personal care products.
