Halda is inventing novel precision medicines for oncology. Specifically, we are developing RIPTACTM therapeutics, a new drug modality for the treatment of cancer. Founded by world renowned Yale scientist, Professor Craig Crews, Halda invented RIPTAC therapeutics as an innovative cancer treatment approach that does not rely on traditional oncogenic disease drivers to target cancer. This powerful technology is designed to overcome the known bypass mechanisms of drug resistance, a common limitation of todays precision cancer medicines. Using a novel hold and kill mechanism, RIPTAC therapeutics target cancer cells selectively by bringing two proteins together in a tightly regulated manner, causing the loss of an essential function for cell survival and subsequent cancer cell death.
