Harbor Diesel and Equipment, Inc. was founded in San Pedro, California in 1971 as an authorized Full Service Dealer for the Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors. In 1976, Harbor Diesel moved to its present location in Long Beach consisting of approximately 53,000 sq. ft. of buildings on 1.5 acres of land and has grown into a company with annual sales volume in excess of $22 million and a staff of over fifty employees representing quality product lines and servicing several market segments. In 2004, our corporate operating name of HD Industries was established in order to encompass all of the product lines and diverse markets we represent.
