Harbour Basketball Association

Harbour Basketball is New Zealands leading basketball association. We have the greatest number of members, the largest and most innovative competitions and the most successful representative programme in New Zealand. Our coach and match official development programmes are regarded as the benchmarks for New Zealand. Our area encompasses a rapidly growing population of more than 400,000 people, including Kaipatiki, Upper Harbour, Devonport-Takapuna, East Coast Bays and Rodney. Harbour Basketball was incorporated in 1972. Since then a group of predominantly volunteers has built what is unquestionably one of the strongest basketball associations in New Zealand. Our competitions have steadily built in an area that has embraced the sport of basketball. We are the largest secondary school sport and the largest boys sport in our area.
