HASC Louisiana

The Safety Council of Southwest Louisiana has been serving the Southwest Louisiana area since 1955. Originally, the Council was a chapter of the National Safety Council in 1999. Today we are charter members of the American Association of Safety Councils (AASC) and the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC). These organizations continue to grow each year with the simple objective of providing service and training to our respective communities to achieve accident prevention in the home, at work and at play. Over the years, our community service projects have grown and we added a broad assortment of programs to support our local area industrial growth. In 1992, at the request of local industry, the council began providing orientation and training for local area contractor employees with the prime objective of containing costs and providing quality programs.
