Todays society encourages us to lead fast-paced, busy lives where we can feel under pressure to appear happy, successful and plugged into social media 24/7. #Me cuts into the isolation and loneliness that an online presence often masks or even creates. #Me is for those who wish to improve their mental health and wellbeing in a safe, supportive environment that focuses on building relationships, community and a sense of belonging. #Me provides an opportunity to connect with like minded people, share experiences and engage in positive exercises and coping strategies. #Me endeavour to be the change we seek in the world. We aim to increase awareness of, reduce the stigma towards and try to reduce mental health suffering through our 12-week course of weekly hour-long facilitated #Me Meetings that are led by 2 trained voluntary facilitators.
