Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum was established in 1967. We began as a grove of native hawthorn trees growing along the Pike River, and in 2016, we doubled in size, growing to almost 100 acres. In response to this growth, an astronomical observatory, The Farm, and new educational programs were introduced. We provide educational programs to people of all ages, combining nature, history and horticulture.
