Headliners Club

The Headliners Club was conceived by Charles E. Green, the long-time Executive Editor of what would become the Austin American-Statesman, as a comfortable environment for those that make the Headlines and those that write the Headlines. Before settling into its current 21st floor location above downtown Austin at Sixth and Lavaca, the Club operated from facilities in the historic Driskill Hotel and later, atop the Westgate Building, near the Texas Capitol. Today, The Headliners Club is widely known as Austins preeminent urban venue for social events and professional meetings, as well as for entertaining and fine dining in a graceful and convivial setting. The Club also regularly presents a variety of special events that reflect the tastes and interests of its members and their guests.
