Health Access Connect

Since 2014, Health Access Connect (HAC) has been dedicated to linking remote communities in Uganda to healthcare by enhancing public health systems and empowering local communities. Our flagship program, Medicycles, establishes community-led outreach clinics in remote areas, significantly improving healthcare access. By the end of 2023, we had reached 130 remote communities, conducted over 2,000 outreach clinics, and served more than 80,000 patients. HAC addresses healthcare gaps with additional programs like the technical assistance project for the Ugandan Ministry of Health, the Treat & Teach family planning initiative, and efforts to digitize health facilities.
