Health Systems Technology, Inc. is the creator of MedPointe, an electronic medical records system, and Practice Made Perfect, a practice management system. HST maintains its headquarters in Rochester, New York. HST began developing medical practice management software in 1989. In 1998, we released Practice Made Perfect, a Microsoft Windows-based program, a significant upgrade from our previous DOS-based software. In 2000, working closely with a number of our physician clients, we developed version 1 of MedPointe an EMR workflow suite that is tightly integrated with our practice management program. What made it unique then and now is that it was developed by physicians working closely with a developer who was an expert workflow analyst.
