Hearts Alive Village

Hearts Alive Village is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was founded in 2013 because of an intense need to help save dogs and cats that were losing their lives in an overcrowded shelter system, as well as to assist pet owners who have no other place to turn. With the help of a dedicated team, we fight every day to animal shelter intake by offering several services, such as: a pet food bank, rehoming services for pet owners who have passed away or have become unable to care for their pets; educational resources; and medical services through our low-cost veterinarian clinic, which serves over 1,000 families a month. HAV has taken a comprehensive approach to pet homelessness. We have a Human Support Services Department which helps citizens as the first contact for people looking for resources, it helps those who have animals at risk of suffering, being surrendered, or euthanized.
