Hebrew Helpers

Hebrew Helpers is dedicated to connecting families and synagogues with expert Bnai Mitzvah mentors and officiants, who tailor Jewish learning to the community and individual familys needs. In addition to Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation, Hebrew Helpers teaches Hebrew language and general Jewish studies to children and adults at any level. Founded by Todd Shotz in 2005, Hebrew Helpers works throughout California and New York. Hebrew Helpers has worked with families from all the Jewish movements, unaffiliated families and interfaith families, to provide traditional services or creative alternatives. Our aim is to provide young people with the tools to navigate their own Jewish identity through understanding Jewish history, culture, ritual and prayer. This ancient rite of passage can be a modern milestone when families and children assess their spiritual place in the community.
