At the peak of the dotcom era, a new breed of office space opened its doors in Stockholm: a communal workspace on the 18th floor, boasting the first broadband connection in town and housing a community of the most innovative companies of their generation. The Summit at Hitech Building was our name back then, marking one of the worlds first coworking spaces. When we received the keys, the first thing we did was tear down every single wall in the entire space. Little did we know then that those demolished walls would give birth to some amazing things laughter, connections, and a unique collaborative spirit. Ever since, we have continued to break down barriers and create workspaces that bring people closer. Because even though everyone seems to be chasing success with OKRs and KPIs, weve noticed something else: when people genuinely love their office, success seems to happen all on its own.
