Herburg Roses

Herburg Roses Plc is established in 2006 in Ziway, Ethiopia at the Sher Ethiopia project. We started our first greenhouse in 2006 with 18 hectare of rose production. In 2008 we expanded our operation to a total of 40 hectare. All cut flower roses. We are now at the position of being in full production, which means an average 2 million rose stems per week, over a 100 million roses per year. Last year we found ourselves being at the top 4 of biggest exporting companies in the Horticultural industry in Ethiopia. Our management team has both Dutch and Ethiopian members being responsible for the daily process of this multi million operation. At our production facility 1150 inhabitants of Ziway are employed by Herburg Roses and have an income to support an estimated 4500+ family members with their income.
