The Herreshoff Marine Museum / Americas Cup Hall of Fame is dedicated to the education and inspiration of the public through presentations of the history and innovative work of the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company and the Americas Cup competition. We celebrate excellence in design, disruptive innovation and advanced manufacturing. HMCo began in 1878 and was the creation of two brothers. J.B. the blind brother, was an extraordinary businessman, and Nathanael, the Wizard of Bristol, became Americas preeminent yacht designer.
