Highlander Gaming

Who We Are Founded in April 2012, Highlander Gaming is a social club at the University of California, Riverside whose aim is to promote and involve the campus and surrounding areas in esports and the gaming industry. Through Highlander Gaming, we hope to create a strong community that dedicates itself to a competitive spirit, while maintaining a strong sense of sportsmanship and social inclusion. Our Story Highlander Gaming began as Esports at UCR in 2012 with a small group of friends, focusing mostly on Blizzards feature title of that time, Starcraft 2. Our organizations goals at the time was to create a community where gamers at UCR have a place to flourish and connect with each other. Now, Highlander Gaming connects over 2,500 gamers on campus together, creating events such as Highlander Con that bring the entire SoCal community together.
