Hogs Head Golf Club

Hogs Head consists of Hogs Head Golf Club (HHGC) and the Lodge at Hogs Head. The golf course is newly designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. (RTJ) and gets its name from its location on the Hogs Head peninsula (a marine bearing point marking the opening to Ballinskelligs Bay from the North Atlantic). The project was the inspiration of Mr. Tony Alvarez II and Mr. Bryan Marsal, to provide a place built by friends for friends who share the love, camaraderie and fellowship of the game of golf. The Hogs Head Golf Clubs founders directed RTJ to design a course that would possess certain key qualities including naturalness, variety, elements of classic design and strategy, combined with a fun walkable experience, capped off with a warm and friendly 19th hole.
