We are proud to employ over 300 members of the Central Iowa community and are constantly looking for new ways to reward and appreciate our employees. Homemakers Furniture offers the largest selection of furniture at the lowest prices. With over 215,000 square feet of showroom space and expert specialists in every department, we are fully equipped to assist you with your home furnishing needs. Founded by Carl & Ina Merschman in 1974, Homemakers Furniture has been a staple in Iowa for over 45 years. Acquired by Nebraska Furniture Mart, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, in 2000, Homemakers continues to be operated and managed by members of the Merschman family. Our e-commerce site makes our extensive selection and legendary low prices accessible across the United States
