HHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center that offers medical services, dental services, behavioral health services, a sliding-fee scale for payment that is based on what the patient can afford, several prescription assistance programs, and much more. Hometown Health Center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals. Comprehensive health care necessitates treating the whole person. Treatment is not exclusively medical, nor is it solely psychological.
