Hope Pastures

Hope Pastures is a registered UK charity, which rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes horses, ponies and donkeys. Based in Leeds we also educate in animal welfare and provide a place where people, irrespective of background and ability, can meet the animals, volunteer, learn skills and learn how to contribute to the community. Hope Pastures is open free of charge everyday and is easily accessible by foot or public transport. We also run educational and fun group visits, Pony Days and volunteering sessions (including for the elderly, schools, brownies and resourced provision groups) and we take ponies out on therapeutic visits, for example to drug/alcohol abuse centres and care homes. We have around 30 animals at the sanctuary and are responsible for over 100 in loving foster and forever homes.
