HOPE Project

The HOPE (Helping Orphans Pursue Education) Project provides educational assistance to orphans and vulnerable children many of whom have been infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. HOPE provides these children with access to an education and the prospect of a career. Our goal is to use education as a means to enable the children we serve to overcome poverty and create a better life for themselves and their families. HOPE pays for school fees, uniforms, books and other supplies as well as transportation, meals and in special cases, boarding and medical care. We run tutorial sessions, workshops and other activities for our students; proactively monitor each childs progress in school and at home; and provide counselling as needed. HOPE provides a healthy and safe environment for children to learn, grow and mature.
