It all started over not-a-beer. Our founder, Dean, was taking a month off drinking as part of his health journey, but while at a brewery with his eventual co-founder, Andrew, realized that he didnt miss the beer or alcohol, but the aroma and complexity of hops. He imagined a beverage that took the best properties of alcohol made from real ingredients, with layers of complexity but without the bad stuff that would not only replace alcohol, but add more to everyday drinking.
