HORYZN

HORYZN is a student initiative consisting of 58 Bachelor, Master and PhD students of the TU Munich. The team is conceptualizing, designing and building eVTOL (electrical Vertical Take-Off and Landing) UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for real-life use cases. The student initiative has also become part of the NEXT Prototypes e.V. HORYZN is particularly proud of the internationality of the team - over 20 countries are represented. MOTIVATION HORYZN mainly wants to solve real-life problems with good purpose by applying theoretical knowledge gained in university. Besides that, the initiative strives for an increased social and political acceptance of UAVs.
