A revolutionary idea and great deal of entrepreneurial spirit; In 1975 Hans-Otto Schwarze used this combination and founded HOSCH. The initials of a graduated engineer served as a simple, but unmistakable trade name. After the development of the first sprung-blade scraper, the company of highly qualified engineers, which was still small at the time, laid the pivotal foundation for its later success. The first commercially available belt-cleaner, Type A, was presented to the public in 1976 and HOSCH was quickly recognized as having a great reputation. In 1986, the still young company made a world-wide breakthrough in belt-cleaning technology with the launch of the HOSCH Type B6.
