Hospicare & Palliative Care Services

Our hospice team makes people comfortable in the last six months of their lives by honoring the patients wishes and by providing far more than medical care. We take into consideration patients medical, emotional and spiritual needs so they can more fully enjoy time with loved ones. We provide these services in homes, in acute and chronic care facilities, and at our six-bed residence. Following a patients death, we also support the family with 13 months of bereavement services. Our palliative care team focuses on two dimensions of caring for people with life-limiting illnesses. First, we focus on the patient, the caregivers and the family rather than on the disease. Second, we focus on relieving the burden of illness, enhancing the quality of life, and fulfilling the patients goals for comfort.
