What is Hospice Care? Hospice of Texarkana/Hospice of Hope specializes in medical, emotional and spiritual care for persons of any age with life-limiting illness, as well as emotional and spiritual support to the entire family. Our professional and volunteer staff provides services in residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, in hospitals and in our Hospice Care Center. Since 1985, Hospice of Texarkana has provided compassionate care to thousands of patients and many times that number of family members. When is it time for Hospice Care? Our care is for those who have a life-limiting illness. Patients can be of any age and have any diagnosis such as: Heart disease, lung disease, ALS, cancer, Alzheimers Disease or AIDS.
