Our journey started when Mr Nihal Chand Wadhwani, born in 1947, left his prestigious job as a bank employee in India to pursue his love for fashion. His search for better opportunities brought him to Hong Kong in 1973, after which he strongly felt that there was no looking back. In 1978, he finally decided to come back to India and settle down with his own business. Catering to the domestic market starting from north India and eventually the south, his influence grew to deal with sarees made in Lucknow. It wasnt until 2001 when Mr Ashish Wadhwani joined the family business after coming back from Australia. The business was finally booming and House of Fairlady was finally receiving the appreciation we deserved. Mr Ashish had this immense belief that he had to make this work. He had to make it happen.
