House of Sophrosyne

Founded in 1978, the House of Sophrosyne was committed to the provision of gender-specific services for substance dependent women. Today, our organization provides a continuum of care and wellness for women and their families, as well as to all members of the community who are affected by the addictions of others. The House of Sophrosyne believes women require unique, supportive programs provided in an all-female environment in order to initiate and sustain the process of recovery from substance dependency.
