Founded in 2001 in Canley Vale, Sydney, House of Welcome has been a beacon of support for refugees and people seeking asylum for over two decades. Our mission is to provide a safe community where forcibly displaced people can thrive and belong. We offer comprehensive wrap-around support, including transitional housing, personalized casework, employment pathways, advocacy for policy change, and social enterprise opportunities. Our innovative programs encompass Welcome Start Transitional Housing, Work & Welcome employment placements, and the House of Welcome Catering social enterprise. Since 2017, weve operated from our Granville location, continuing to expand our services and impact.
