House of Wonders

Our History: House of Wonders was created in Cascais in 2011 by Anna Catharina, a Dutch entrepreneur with a degree in Hospitality Management and vast experience in business in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. She arrived in Portugal in 2010 wishing to start up a business. Looking at the restaurants on offer she opened a small cafe and concept store, in the heart of Cascais, minutes from the beaches, the old center and the shopping streets. The mission was to offer market fresh food, vegetable dishes and salads as well as freshly squeezed juices with a variety of fresh fruits. It was an unusual concept and a bold pioneering step, as Portugal is known for a cuisine of fish and meat.
