Humane Society of Harford County

The Humane Society of Harford County, Inc., located in Fallston, Maryland, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), open-admission animal support organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to the homeless and neglected animals of Harford County. We serve nearly 3,500 animals each year including dogs, cats, ponies, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons, lizards, snakes, spiders, iguanas, turtles, ducks, turkeys, chickens, goats and pigs, just to name a few! We provide a safe and healthy temporary shelter and seek loving, permanent homes to ensure the long-term welfare of the animals we serve. Through education and advocacy, we promote the humane treatment of companion animals and work toward reducing, and ultimately eliminating, pet overpopulation in the county through low-cost spay and neuter programs.
