Humanmade

Humanmade is a nonprofit open access training, manufacturing, and prototyping studio on a mission to democratize access to the tools of innovation. Located in the heart of San Franciscos Design District, Humanmade brings an all-new learn-design-make-manufacture model to our industry. Humanmade offers access to approximately 13500 square feet of state of the art equipment and space dedicated to training and making. In addition to a wide range of machinery and advanced manufacturing equipment including a metal shop, wood shop, both CNC and hand tools, and digital production equipment including 3D printers and laser cutters the facility will include designated areas for offices, conference rooms, flex spaces, and classrooms. Humanmade is a first of its kind - explicitly founded to be the bridge for individuals to gain the skills to fill manufacturing, fabrication, and design jobs in the Bay Area.
