The paper was bought by the Demioren Media Group in 2018 and has been under the groups flagship Hurriyet since 2006. In addition to the resources of Hurriyet, the Demiroren Group newspapers and the 600-member team of Demiroren News Agency that we use through translation, we have our own staff of reporters and editors. The core value which binds together one of the worlds most diverse news teams is that much of Turkish life and society - not to mention the reality of much in our surrounding region - is poorly refracted through the lens of international media.
