HWM Aston Martin

HWM (Hersham & Walton Motors) was established in 1938. We were founded as a race car constructor and achieved some incredible results across Europe in the decade following the second World War. Racing under the HWM name, we employed some incredible drivers; George Abecassis (also a founder). Stirling Moss, Lance Macklin, Peter Collins, Louis Chiron, Duncan Hamilton. As a team operating out of a building in Surrey, we were notable for punching well above our weight. Today, HWM continues to operate out of the same building, with the same ownership structure and using the same name. We are a privately owned and have nearly 50 people working across our two businesses: HWM Aston Martin - we have been an official Aston Martin dealership since 1951 which makes us the oldest in the world.
