HYPE Athletics is committed to strengthening individuals, families, and the community in Wayne County by providing quality counseling, education, advocacy, and referral services from a family perspective. HYPE Athletics believes that families are the foundation of our society and works for their preservation and support. Changing Youth with Life Skills - This early intervention / diversion program is designed to instill a sense of hope and convey the belief that change is possible while empowering youth to organize themselves to achieve their goals. Group Mentoring - HYPE Athletics will provide weekly community-based mentoring services to program youth. Substance Abuse Education HYPE Athletics will offer a substance abuse prevention and education program for youth ages 7-18 and their parents / caregivers.
