Founded in 2018, Hypixel Studios Ltd is a team of more than 70 globally. Hytale is the studios first project. The companys goal is to apply years of collective experience in the modding and minigame server scenes to independent game development, providing community-empowering games that meet the needs of players and content creators alike. Hypixel Studios was acquired by Riot Games in April 2020. It continues to operate as an independent studio while leveraging Riots expertise, technology, and resources to support the development of Hytale.
