Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus

Hyundai Motor Company is the largest Korean car manufacturer. It occupies one of the leading positions in the world market of automotive industry and has 10 car manufacturing plants worldwide. At the territory of the Russian Federation the own plant of the company was opened in September, 2010 in St. Petersburg. Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus (HMMR) became Russias first automotive plant with full-cycle production among foreign car makers. At the territory of plant the stamping shop, welding shop, paint shop and assembly shop are located. Production capacity of the enterprise is more than 200,000 cars a year. Currently the plant annually manufactures more than 75% of total amount of cars produced in St. Petersburg. The plant produces Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio cars which are popular among consumers and obtain leadership in sales on Russian market.
