Founded in 2014, by Harvard University alumni, I Am A Teacher (IAAT) is a not-for-profit organization with a purpose to build a relevant and rigorous practice-based model for teacher education in the country. The title I Am A Teacher was consciously chosen and coined to build a sense of pride within teachers about the profession and about their identity as teachers.
