IARC primarily carries on the business of securitization and asset reconstruction as defined in section 2 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (the SARFAESI Act). The Company acts as an Investment Manager / Trustee for various trusts set up for securitization pursuant to the SARFAESI Act. The financial assets are acquired under separate trusts set up for securitization or directly for asset reconstruction.
